Vulnerability activation with Walls Down in Little Haiti.
At golden hour, we’ll meet under the oak trees at a waterfront public park in Little Haiti. In small groups, we'll play Walls Down, a conversation game built to help people make deeper, more meaningful connections.
Let's embrace vulnerability together with the help of Walls Down and the local artist who created it.
Art exhibit tour, recycled paper making activity, drinks and small plates in North Miami.
Join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art for a private tour of Andrea Chung’s “Between Too Late and Too Early” exhibit, and help us repurpose unused materials from We Met in Miami’s first year during a paper recycling workshop.
Then connect over drinks and small plates at Sapori Miami by Café Crème.
Meet us at Vizcaya Village this Thursday night for a picturesque evening of connection and history.
Here’s a taste:
Our wristbands (plus name tags with icebreakers!) will be available at the entrance, so everyone at the market will have a chance to find love, friendship and connection.
Plus: We're tagging along for Qué Pasa, a tour of the Village in Spanglish. (Is that Miami or what?!)
This bilingual experience will delve into women's history at Vizcaya. The tours begin at 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and require a separate ticket.
Stick around after each tour for facilitated small-group conversations with yours truly. We’ll connect with the theme in mind: empowering women!
It’s all free, and there’s ample free parking.
Learn from community organizers and experts about all aspects of wellness in life, including doulas, life planners and third space creators.
We Met in Miami founder Jessica Bakeman will share insights on community building during a 2 p.m. panel called Cultivating Adulthood.
The free event organized by MOCA and the YWCA of South Florida will also feature hands-on activities, health-centered food options, and live music, as well as a special movement workshop for kids with exhibiting artist Smita Sen.
