Who we are
We Met Community Connection Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization facilitating love and friendship for adults 21+ through community service, civic engagement and the arts.
Our mission is to overcome loneliness, foster connection and create spaces for community to thrive.
We are currently serving South Florida. We Met in Miami, our inaugual chapter, launched on Feb. 14, 2024. Our second chapter, We Met in Broward, is launching in early 2026.
At our events, adults 21+ wear wristbands that show others we are open to making new connections: green for people looking for love, blue for those seeking friendship and rainbow for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. (Yes, you can wear more than one!)
Each event includes curated experiences and facilitated conversations, designed to help people foster deeper, more meaningful connections through shared interests and values.
