Who we are
We Met in Miami is a nonprofit event series facilitating love and friendship for adults 21+ through community service, civic engagement and the arts.
Our mission is to overcome loneliness, foster connection and create spaces for community to thrive in Miami.
At our events, adults 21+ wear wristbands that show others we are open to making new connections: green for people looking for love, blue for those seeking friendship and rainbow for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. (Yes, you can wear more than one!)
Each event includes curated connection experiences designed to help people foster meaningful connections through shared interests and values.

Think of it like a Miami meet cute: a chance for Miamians to meet their next beau or bestie at a singalong. A film festival. A figure drawing class. A beach cleanup. A historical neighborhood tour.
